چکیده
In this work, ternary and quaternary layered double oxides (PTB-LDO3 PTB-LDO4) based on phosphate tailings were synthesized by the coprecipitation method. The as-prepared samples characterized applied to remove fluorine ions from a phosphogypsum leaching solution. results indicated that both precursor of PTB-LDO3 PTB-LDO4 showed structure with characteristic diffraction peaks hydrotalcite. Compared PTB-LDO4, exhibited better adsorption performance at pH 5–6 dosage 0.04 mg L−1. kinetics revealed reached equilibrium in about 3 h, followed pseudo-second-order model. data could be fitted Langmuir isotherm maximum amounts 26.03 g−1 15.66 for respectively. spontaneous exothermic, excellent reusability stability. This study provides possibility combined treatment phosphorus chemical solid waste (phosphorus tailings) wastewater (phosphogypsum liquid).

Synthesis ratios of Mg-Al and Zn-Al layered double hydroxides efficiency and selectivity in nitrate removal from solution
Four diverse chlorides layered double hydroxides with diverse ratios, i.e. Mg-Al (3:1), Mg-Al (4:1), Zn-Al (4:1), and Zn-Al (3:1) LDHs, were prepared to evaluate their efficiency and selectivity towards nitrate removal from aquatic solutions. A batch experiment was done at the initial nitrate concentration of 5-1000 mg/L, pH 5 to 12, and contact time of 5-180 min. Isotherms of nitrate adsorptio...

In this work, calcined chitosan-supported layered double hydroxides (CSLDO) were synthesized through a co-precipitation method that restrained the particles' aggregation of LDHs and exhibited huge specific surface areas, which can enhance the fluoride adsorption capacity. CSLDOs were characterized by physical and chemical methods and used for fluoride adsorption in an aqueous solution. The resu...
متن کاملRemoval of hexavalent chromium from aqueous solution using canola biomass: Isotherms and kinetics studies
The removing of hexavalent chromium from wastewater or decreasing its chromium (VI) content up to the permitted levels is important due to its non-biodegradation, bioaccumulation, and cancer-causing and toxic effects. In the present study, biosorption of Cr (VI) from aqueous solutions using canola was investigated. The various physicochemical parameters such as pH, initial Cr (VI) ion concentra...

Xylene removal from dilute solution by palm kernel activated charcoal: Kinetics and equilibrium analysis
Xylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is a highly toxic compound. Therefore, it is essential to remove this component from wastewater before discharging it to the environment. In this research work, palm kernel biomass was activated chemically by H3PO4 and synthesized activated charcoal was applied to separate xylene from aqueous media. The prepared activated charcoal was characterized using F...
